PRE-START PLANS · REGISTERS · PERMITS

Bring your core construction project paperwork together before site starts.

A coordinated setup pack containing the agreed plans, site information, induction, registers, permits and record templates needed for the project team.

A COORDINATED START

Useful site documents without disconnected templates.

The Construction Project Setup Pack develops the wider pre-start paperwork around the project information you supply. Rather than providing a folder of generic forms, each agreed document follows the same project details, responsibilities and site arrangements.

The pack is quoted individually according to project size, complexity, risks and required documents. It can also be combined with SiteSide's scope-of-works, tender-comparison or project-oversight services.

TYPICAL PACK CONTENT

The practical paperwork needed at mobilisation.

Only the documents agreed for the actual project are included.

Construction Phase Plan

A project-specific draft describing the management arrangements, responsibilities and key controls.

Site induction pack

Site rules, emergency information, visitor requirements and workforce acknowledgement records.

Emergency and fire plan

Draft contacts, alarm, first-aid, evacuation, fire-prevention and incident arrangements.

Traffic and delivery plan

Known access routes, delivery controls, pedestrian interfaces, unloading areas and restrictions.

Welfare arrangements

A clear record of the facilities and management arrangements intended from the start of the project.

Inspection and briefing records

Practical registers for site checks, briefings, toolbox talks, plant and agreed temporary arrangements.

OPTIONAL PERMIT SET

Add the higher-risk work controls relevant to the programme.

Project-specific permit templates can be included for:

  • Hot works
  • Confined-space entry
  • Work at height and roof access
  • Excavation
  • Electrical isolation
  • Lifting operations

Permits must be issued, monitored, suspended where necessary and closed by competent people appointed to manage the work on site.

PROJECT INFORMATION

We build the pack from the arrangements you intend to use.

  • Project scope, address, dates and work sequence
  • Client, designer, contractor and site-management details
  • Known surveys, drawings, constraints and residual risks
  • Access, deliveries, welfare and public-protection arrangements
  • Plant, temporary works and higher-risk activities
  • Emergency contacts and site-specific rules

REVIEWED BY THE DUTYHOLDERS

A strong starting point—not a replacement for site management.

SiteSide Support provides document-preparation support. The appointed CDM dutyholders retain their legal duties and must have the necessary skills, knowledge, experience and organisational capability for the project.

A competent person within the contractor or principal contractor must check the pack against the actual site, approve it before use, brief those affected and keep it updated as the work or risks change.

REQUEST A PROJECT QUOTATION

Set up the project with clear, coordinated paperwork from day one.

Tell us what the project involves and which records you need. We will confirm the pack, fee and delivery date.
