LEGAL INFORMATION

Terms of service

1. About us

SiteSide Support is a trading name of Tim Webber, sole trader. Our business correspondence address will appear on order confirmations and invoices before paid trading begins. Contact: hello@sitesidesupport.co.uk.

2. The service

We prepare quotations, RAMS and other contractor documents using information and materials supplied by the customer. The deliverables are those stated in the accepted order.

3. Customer information

The customer must provide complete, accurate and lawful information and must have permission to share uploaded materials and personal data.

4. No inspection or verification

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not visit the site, measure works, validate prices, verify competence, inspect hazards or confirm compliance with legislation, contracts or third-party requirements.

5. Customer approval

Every document must be reviewed and approved by the customer. The customer remains responsible for technical decisions, prices, methods, supervision, statutory duties and the use of the document.

6. RAMS

RAMS are supplied as a project-specific draft. A competent person within the customer’s business must check them against actual site conditions, approve them and brief the workforce. They must be amended if the work, people, equipment or conditions change.

7. Turnaround

Turnaround begins when payment and all required information have been received. Delivery dates are targets unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

8. Revisions

One reasonable consolidated revision is included where stated. Changes to the original scope, price or information may be treated as additional work.

9. Payment

Payment is normally required in advance through the secure payment link supplied with the order confirmation. Additional work is charged at the price agreed before it begins.

10. Cancellation

If an order is cancelled before work begins, we may refund the fee less non-recoverable payment charges. Once work begins, we may retain a reasonable amount for work completed. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

11. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of our underlying templates, systems and standard wording. Once paid, the customer may use the completed document for the named project or agreed business purpose.

12. Confidentiality and data

Both parties will protect confidential information. Personal data is processed as described in our privacy notice.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law. Final liability wording and any financial cap will be aligned with our professional insurance before public trading.

14. Third parties

No third party may rely on a document unless we have expressly agreed this in writing.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
